PT Cruiser was brought to market in 2000 and now, 10 years later, it has reached the end of production. Anyhow, the PT scene lives strong as enthusiasts keep customizing their cars and meeting each others in USA and Europe. Modern retro car designed by Bryan Nesbitt inspires many people and its classic shapes provide a good platform for many kinds of implementations. As the price level of PT Cruisers' is getting lower we can expect to see even more radical customized PT Cruisers in the future.

The 10th anniversary has got enthusiasts all over the world to organize a number of PT meetings. The happening organized by Dutch enthusiasts rallied near 100 PT Cruisers from ten different countries to The Netherlands. Most of the cars were tuned or customized but the organizers also took into account the original cars by giving out "The Most Stock" price. "Frozen Hell Edition" that was presented in V8-Magazine 10/2008 brought home the third price in "Best Foreign PT Cruiser" class.

The retro shapes of PT Cruiser tempt to make the car look older. This combination was one of the most impressive with many cool and well considered details.

In Europe it is popular to equip cars with lights. A car that looks stock by day may look like this by night.
